Helpmesearchfor.com is a web page dedicated to the explorers of the internet who need a little help finding things. It is heavily used by teachers and students from around the world. It provides an interface for asking questions, answering questions and a sophisticated answer scoring system. The higher an answers score the higher the users reputation. It has several categories for questions and the theme of the site changes based on the category.

The main feature of the website is that users can ask questions to a broad audience without having to register. The use of the categories ensures that the questions go to the right audience. The answers then can be rated by the user givign more credibility to the answerer.

In the answers, if teh answerer chooses to post urls to reference materials, the link will be converted to a picture preview, or a download icon of the appropriate application.

This site has now been discontinued due to the Question and Answer service launched by Yahoo not more then a year later.

SoliTech designed and developed the website paying close attention to usability and search engine optimization strategies. We also hosted the website for it’s operational period.
The duration of the development from conception to deployment was four months.
