1 May 2006They are proud to offer you the largest online selection of decorative upholstery fabrics at affordable prices. The customer wanted to create an online shopping cart where the user can choose the fabric and the yardage.
The website featured a user friendly fabric search interface where users could easily browse through thusands of fabrics and find exactly what they were looking for. Close attention was paid to the usability of the website. After the user found their desired fabrics, they could then also determine the the number of yards needed and add the fabric to their shopping cart.
The shopping cart calculated shipping costs and fabric costs per yard and added the selections into a continuous cart inventory so multiple fabric selections were possible. The transaction was handled by PayPal which enabled the customer to use a number of payment options without the need for the client to pay high transaction fees for conventional banks.
SoliTech designed and developed this web page. Custom hosting was also provided.
This web business was discontinued by the user after a year of operation.
